State senators Butch Miller and John Wilkinson attended a luncheon this week to salute the poll workers of Hall County for their work during the 2018 election.

“All Hall County poll workers were invited to a luncheon this week at Lakewood Baptist, and we took the occasion to honor their work on behalf of our citizens,” Miller said.

More than 200 were in attendance.

Lakewood’s senior pastor, Tom Smiley, chairs the Hall County Elections Board.

“We value our poll workers and how they ensure our elections are run with honesty and integrity. It was our privilege to host and salute them,” he said.
