A Flowery Branch Realtor has petitioned Flowery Branch City Council to annex two tracts totaling nearly 11 acres and zone them as highway business.

Jerry Crow is requesting the actions on behalf of the Willie I. Sloan estate.

One of the properties a 2.52-acre tract on Mulberry Street and the other is 8.15 acres at 5734 Phil Niekro Boulevard.

Crow hasn’t cited a specific use for the two properties.

A public hearing is set on the matter for 6 p.m. June 11 at City Hall, 5517 Main St.

Flowery Branch City Council plans to consider the requests on first reading at its June 17 meeting.
