Ray Perren was chosen as new president of Lanier Technical College in a unanimous vote by the Technical College System of Georgia at its meeting Thursday in Atlanta. Perren will succeed Russell Vandiver, who retired at the end of March after 37 years at Lanier Tech, including the last three as president. The appointment is effective May 1.
