The Times’ Director of Revenue Leah Nelson will join the next class of The Greater Hall Chamber of Commerce’s Leadership Hall program.
The program was founded in 1983 and offers the opportunity to learn the inter-related issues of the community. Participants develop knowledge through a series of sessions covering arts, education, health and social services, city, county and state governments, judicial and economic development.
Nelson has worked for The Times twice, most recently since 2016. She oversees all aspects of advertising operations.
Originally from Louisiana, Nelson has more than 30 years of experience in both agency work and newspapers. She has degrees from the University of West Florida and Lynn University.
Nelson lives in Gainesville with her husband and has two adult children.
There are 943 graduates of Leadership Hall County who continue to be involved in the community.
