The Hall County grand jury returned an indictment against a Buford man accused of mutilating a neighbor’s cattle.

Cameron Naquin, 19, of 4943 Bennett Road in Buford, is charged with aggravated animal cruelty and criminal trespass.

Hall County Sheriff’s officials said Bennett disfigured a bull calf belonging to Leslie Orr at 4780 Bennett Road by repeatedly slicing its back and hindquarters.

Sheriff’s officials do not believe the case is connected to a series of mysterious cattle mutilations last fall at a farm on Union Church Road in South Hall.
