Water service will be interrupted on Washington Street from the intersection of Green Street to the intersection of Bradford Street on Saturday, Sept. 26 from about 8 a.m. to 1 p.m., according to Gainesville Water Resources. 

The service interruption will allow for water main improvements in the area. 

Construction crews will be in the area, and drivers are encouraged to be careful, according to Gainesville Water Resources.
