The Hall County government is seeking input on how it communicates with the public as part of a plan to evaluate its communication initiatives.
An online survey asks community members how they would like to learn more about county government, whether that be through social media, the county website, newsletters, brochures or videos. It also asks about what topics, including finances, parks and public works, are of interest.
Hall County’s strategic plan calls for reviewing the county government’s communication practices and seeking input from stakeholders.
"We want to know what forms of media our residents and stakeholders are using, and how we can meet them where they are. We understand that each person has their own preferences, and we want to be sure we are communicating in a way that not only reaches them, but contains the type of information they want to read, watch or hear," Brian Stewart, a digital media specialist with the county, said in a statement.
The survey is available on the county website.
