Commissioners approve change to way purchases are approved
Hall County Government Center

The Hall County Board of Commissioners will now be seeing fewer purchases for approval, after commissioners voted Thursday to change the price threshold for items that need it.

Commissioners will now vote on purchases of at least $50,000. The threshold before was $10,000. Less expensive purchases will be approved by staff.

Commissioner Shelly Echols was absent Thursday, and all other commissioners approved the change. No one spoke at a public hearing before the vote.
