Flowery Branch woman dies month after rollover wreck

A Flowery Branch woman died Thursday, Jan. 10 at Northeast Georgia Medical Center more than a month after a serious wreck in Flowery Branch.

Lindsay Kate Arnold, 26, succumbed to the injuries she suffered in a Dec. 3 wreck, according to her obituary.

Flowery Branch Police were dispatched to after 10 p.m. Dec. 3 to Falcon Parkway near Hog Mountain Road.

“Upon arrival, (the) vehicle was upright but had appeared to have been involved in a multiple roll over accident as the roof was severely damaged as well as the windshield, both sides of the vehicle and the front,” according to the report.

Arnold was seen breathing but “bleeding excessively,” and she appeared to be wearing her seatbelt.

“It appeared (Arnold) was traveling at a high rate of speed (northbound) on Falcon Parkway where she lost control and went into the ditch located on the shoulder of (the) roadway causing the vehicle to overturn and roll numerous times for a distance of about 50 yards as well as striking a road sign,” according to the report.
