Betty Wright, Mary Lowery and Marilyn Johnson of the Hall County Quilt Guild took lap cozies — shaped quilts for wheelchair-bound seniors — to Dogwood Forest Assisted Living Community earlier this month. The first presentation was to the Alzheimer’s unit. Earlier in the fall, the group delivered fidget blankets — small lap blankets with different textures and activities to keep hands busy — to the same group.
