Ample news coverage has been devoted to the disappearance of 12-year-old Maria Gomez-Perez. But two weeks after she was first reported missing, little is known about the Gainesville girl. The Times attended a prayer vigil Wednesday evening and afterward spoke to several people from Maria's school to learn more about her.
