Katelyn Ashley Parks and Ian Patrick Gunn were united in marriage at 2 p.m. Oct. 24, 2015, at Immaculate Conception Jesuit Church in New Orleans, La. The bride is the daughter of Lynn and Ken Clemmons of Murrayville, and Jim and Kim Parks of Murrayville. The groom is the son of Philip Gunn and Jeanne Turner of New Orleans, La.

Father Donald Saunders, S.J. performed the ceremony. Organist Paul Wattigny, cantor Taylor Miller, trumpeter Vance Woolf, and violinist Zorica Dimova presented a program of wedding music.

The bride was presented in marriage by her father. The bride’s friend Brittany Pittman Wilson of Watkinsville was matron of honor. The bride’s cousin Taylor Jarrard of Gainesville was maid of honor. Bridesmaids were the bride’s cousin Macey Jarrard of Gainesville, the bride’s friend Lauren Koester of Washington, D.C., and the groom’s sister Shannon Gunn of New Orleans, La.

The groom’s friend William Simoneaux of Mandeville, La., was the best man. Groomsmen were the groom’s friends Kyle Lutkewitte of New Orleans, La., Greg Wilson of Watkinsville, and George Wright of Lafayette, La, and the bride’s brother Conner Clemmons of Murrayville. Ushers were Jed Vorhoff and Lee Turner.

Erin St. Pierre England was the wedding coordinator.

The bride wore her maternal grandmother’s ring, a blue sash from her paternal great-grandmother’s dress on her flowers, and a sixpence borrowed from her stepsister.

The groom’s parents gave a rehearsal dinner at Dickie Brennan’s Tableau in New Orleans, La., on the eve of the wedding.

The bride and groom gave a reception at Omni Royal Orleans in New Orleans, La., following the ceremony.

Following a honeymoon to Paris, France, the couple reside in New Orleans, La.
