Flowery Branch’s Andrew Jannakos picked Maroon 5 frontman Adam Levine as his coach after his blind audition on “The Voice” aired Monday, March 18.

Jannakos’ rendition of “Beautiful Crazy” by Luke Combs inspired Levine and singer Kelly Clarkson to quickly turn their chairs just before the 25-year-old sang the song’s chorus.

“I love the fact that your voice sounds almost old-school country, but then I turned around and was like, ‘What’s up new-style country,’” Clarkson said.

Both coaches fought to bring the Flowery Branch singer to their teams, but Jannakos ultimately chose Levine to complete the 12-person team.

“I love your presence,” Levine said. “Your voice is a genuinely, rich, deep, beautiful voice.”

You can watch Jannakos as he competes to stay on “The Voice” at 8 p.m. Monday, March 25, on NBC.
