One of most beloved and favored comedies from William Shakespeare will appear on stage, except this time some West Hall High School students will don the varied roles developed by the Bard.
“A Midsummer Night’s Dream” portrays the events surrounding the marriage of Theseus, the Duke of Athens, to Hippolyta. But the marriage is disrupted by four young Athenian lovers, a group of six amateur actors and fairies in the forest who manipulate them all.
The Spartan Players will perform the comedy at 7 p.m. March 24-26 at 5500 McEver Road in Oakwood.
Tickets are $7 for adults and $5 for students and senior citizens.
