The Georgia Heritage Center for the Arts is now scheduling fiber artists who create wearable art to participate in a fashion show.

GHCA will be sponsoring its third Fashion Show and Luncheon from noon to 2 p.m. Sept. 17 at Bernie's Nacoochee Guest House and Restaurant in Sautee. The fashion show features clothing and jewelry for fall and winter wear.

GHCA's mission is promoting Georgia Artists through events and in the gallery in Helen.

Photos of wearable art may be submitted to ghaahelen@windstream.net or ghca@windstream.net. Please include a description and a short biography.

Artists also may bring their items to the gallery between 10 a.m. and 4 p.m. Aug. 13, 15, or 16. The gallery is located at the south end of Helen in the shopping center with ACE Hardware and Jimmy's Hot Dogs.

Items will be for sale at the end of the fashion show, with a 80-20 split between the artist and GHCA. For more information, visit www.ExperienceGeorgiaArts.org, phone 706-892-1033.
