Gospel and bluegrass music will be paired with fresh food for the “Maters & Music” event in Northeast Georgia this weekend. The free will be from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 23, at the Byron Herbert Reece Farm & Heritage Center pavilion. The Reece Farm & Heritage Center is at 8552 Gainesville Highway (U.S. 129), 9 miles south of Blairsville near Vogel State Park.
