Inspired by the ocean, island and tropical subjects of exhibits and films, Fernbank Museum of Natural History designed its summer programs with the theme of “97 Days of Play.” The series of activities, programs, giveaways and family days will kick off Saturday with Island Adventure Day, which will feature live lemurs, music, crafts and games. Island Adventure Day is inspired by Fernbank’s current special exhibits and IMAX films, including “Whales: Giants of the Deep,” “Journey to the South Pacific,” and “Island of Lemurs: Madagascar.”
