Runners willing to hit the pavement for charities will take their mark at the starting line of the South Hall Rotary 5K.

The second annual 5-kilometer race will begin at 9 a.m. Saturday, Sept. 5, at 5117 Main St. in Flowery Branch.

Runners may register for the officially timed race at www.runnersfit.com/southhallrotary5k. Early online registration is $25; day of race registration is $30.

Proceeds will benefit the Boys & Girls Clubs of Hall County, the University of North Georgia Scholarship Fund and other area charities.
