The Smoky Mountain Brass Quintet will perform at 7:30 p.m. Saturday at the Piedmont College Chapel in Demorest.
Tickets are $10 at the door and $5 for seniors and students. Piedmont College students and staff are admitted free.
A fixture among music circles in western North Carolina since 1993, the Smoky Mountain Brass Quintet has performed across the U.S. and in concerts in China, Russia and the United Kingdom. The Quintet performs a wide variety of music ranging from early Renaissance to pop. In addition, works commissioned from regional composers for the Quintet have expanded the repertoire for all brass quintets.
The Smoky Mountain Brass Quintet includes P. Bradley Ulrich and David Ginn on trumpet, Travis Bennett on horn, Daniel Cherry on trombone, and Michael Schallock on tuba.
