Singer and songwriter Diane Durrett and her band will perform at 8 p.m. Saturday in the Historic Gymnasium at the Sautee Nacoochee Community Center.

Durrett has sung with or opened for Sting, Tina Turner, Delbert McClinton, The Indigo Girls, Faith Hill, Patty Loveless, Gregg Allman and Derek Trucks. Yonrico Scott, drummer for Derek Trucks, will join the band.

Atlanta's Creative Loafing said of her, "Durrett is a soul singer with sweatin' and testifying roots, but there's more if you keep tuning in; she'll make your heart sing with her sweet mellow voice."

Tickets are $16 for SNCA members, $22 for nonmembers, $8 ages 6-17 years. Reservations may be made by calling the center box office Monday through Friday at 706-878-3300.
