With fairies romping through the woods and causing havoc on humans, many theatergoers will be unable to stay away from the New American Shakespeare Tavern for its production of “A Midsummer Night’s Dream”

Performance days and times at 7:30 p.m. Thursdays through Saturdays and 6:30 p.m. Sunday at 499 Peachtree Street NE in Atlanta.

Ticket prices for main floor seats, box seats on the floor and balcony seats range from $15 to $36 depending on the day of the show and seat selection.

Students and educator receive $5 off per price level per night except in the balcony on Thursdays. Military, seniors, groups of 10 or more receive a $3 off discount except in the balcony on Thursdays.

The Shakespeare Tavern is handicapped accessible.

Parking is recommended in the Emory University Hospital Midtown Parking Deck directly across the street from the front doors of The Shakespeare Tavern on Peachtree Street. Regular parking price is $5.                      

The Tavern opens 1 hour and 15 minutes before the performance for food and beverage service. Chef for a Night provides a British-pub-style menu for dinner. The Tavern has a beer, wine, coffee, tea and soft drink bar that serves Bass and Guinness on tap.
