Senior thesis project to explore violence in A Lie of the Mind

In addition to performing “The Great Gatsby,” the Gainesville Theatre Alliance will produce Sam Shepard’s play “A Lie of the Mind” as part of its Discovery Series of shows. The sprawling epic about families in disarray will open April 17, at Brenau Downtown Center, 301 Main St. SW, in Gainesville. “A Lie of the Mind” is the senior thesis project of graduating students Allison Hooks, Jackie Mileson, Rebecca Del Plato and Skyler Passmore.
