The holidays are especially decorative and artisanal at the Sautee Nacoochee Center.

More than 200 juried artists are showcasing their work in the Center Gallery and Gallery Too as part of the “Season of Giving” show. The annual exhibition and sale runs from through Dec. 24.

One of the invitational artists during this holiday show will be Marjorie Bowers of Lilburn. Her, detailed pen and ink drawings will be featured at the center.

Invitational artist Betty Coffey of Mount Airy will display her colored pencil drawings featuring birds, florals and vignettes in still life form.

The artists bring their best creations, which feature paintings rendered in oil, watercolor, mixed media, acrylic, reverse painting and encaustic, as well as wood-turned art and lamps; wine racks; and small pieces of furniture such as end tables, bookcases, small wood boxes to hold your treasures, and even wooden earrings and earring holders.

Fiber artists will supply the center with wall hangings, scarves, purses, aprons, small lap quilts and much more. The galleries also overflow with hundreds of pieces of clay-created art in the forms of mugs, jugs, plates, bowls, vases and sculptured items.

Lamps, small jewelry boxes, and window hangings made of stained glass will be available for your selection. Glass wall hangings and wind chimes, some recycled from wine bottles and many created from antique silverware, will be suspended from the gallery ceilings.
