Salem witch trials resume at Johnson High School
Student thespians to perform Arthur Miller's The Crucible

The fictionalized version of the Salem witch trials portrayed in Arthur Miller’s “The Crucible” will appear on the Johnson High School stage.

The Starry Knights Players will present an allegory of Arthur Miller’s experience of the Red Scare or McCarthyism, when the U.S. government blacklisted accused communists.

Performances will be at 7 p.m. Friday, Feb. 19, and Saturday, Feb. 20, and 2 p.m. Sunday, Feb. 21. All performances will be in the high school’s Performing Arts Center at 3305 Poplar Springs Road in Gainesville.

Tickets are $5.
