Russian folk tale takes shape in Sautee Nacoochee

Once upon a time in faraway Russia, villagers believed every New Year the fairy Babushka would grant every worthy person their special wish for the holiday season.

So, the magic begins as young thespians present their adaptation a Russian folk tale by Jody Davidson.

The Sautee Stars will perform “The Snow Child” at 7:30 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 5, and 2 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 6. Performances will be at Sautee Nacoochee Community Association’s center theater, 283 Ga. 255, Sautee.

Tickets are $10 for members, $12 for nonmembers and $5 for children 16 or younger.
