Photography featured in ConnectAbilitys fourth annual juried show
0128 GO CONNECTIBILITY
Professional and amateur photographs teamed up with special-needs photographers to produce pieces for ConnectAbility’s fourth annual juried show in Dawsonville.

Ten teams of special-needs photographers and their professional or amateur photographers and volunteers plan to connect with art patrons during ConnectAbility’s fourth annual juried photography show “A Thousand Words.”

The show will display the pieces of work from the talented artists in a collaborative photographic project. The show will run from Feb. 5-19 at the Bowen Center for the Arts, at 334 Ga. 9N in Dawsonville, next door to Lanier Technical College. The art center’s hours are 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Tuesday through Friday and noon to 4 p.m. Saturday.

The photographs will be auctioned at a fundraising gala Feb. 27 at R Ranch in Dahlonega to benefit future educational and project programming for ConnectAbility participants. The nonprofit organization helps to change the lives of children and adults with special needs, as well as their families and community.
