North Georgia Zoo to premiere live Nativity scene

To keep the reason for the season visible, the North Georgia Zoo and Petting Farm is offering a realistic look at Mary and Joseph on the night of Jesus’ birth.

The zoo will feature a live Nativity scene from 5-7 p.m. Friday, Nov. 25, through Sunday, Nov. 27, at 2912 Paradise Valley Road in Cleveland. The scene will feature Mary, Joseph, a baby Jesus and the animals that surrounded his birth in the manger.

In addition to the biblical scene, the zoo will host a holiday celebration including a hayride, a marshmallow roast, a wool jump and other holiday activities free with admission to the zoo. The celebration will be from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Friday and 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday and Sunday.

Zoo admission is $23 for adults and $21 for children Ages 2-11. Infants are free. Other prices vary depending on the packages for additional features.
