North Georgia Musical Theater workshop to perform acts from Broadway
1022-GO-MACABRE
The University of North Georgia Musical Theatre Workshop will present several scenes from Broadway plays and musicals with a “Macabre.” It will be an alternative for theatergoers to enjoy on Halloween at the UNG Dahlonega campus. The actors are, from left, Mary Beth Handte, Jonathan Whitmire, C. J. Phillips and Kathleen Waters. Melody Clark is kneeling.
For those who don’t want to venture through haunted mazes or houses for a good scare this Halloween, the University of North Georgia Musical Theatre Workshop will offer a theatrical alternative. A “Musical Theatre Macabre” will be performed at 7:30 p.m. Friday, Oct. 30, and 2 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 31, in the Gloria Shott Performance Hall at 322 Georgia Circle on the UNG Dahlonega campus. The free shows will feature a variety of selections from Broadway shows and movies dealing with darker subjects.
