Children itching to step into the spotlight will have a shot to do just that under the “Big Top” The Children’s Musical Theatre workshop will present “Big Top” at 10 a.m. and 7 p.m. June 10-11 in Gainesville High School at 830 Century Place. With the help of a zany crew of misfit lovable sideshow personalities, sisters Sarah and Angie have to step up to the challenges left by the absence of the vanished ringmaster. Moping clowns, bally girls, a lion-tamer and fortune-tellers will risk it all to see that the show goes on.
