Henry Cho to deliver his stand-up show at Flowery Branch church

Henry Cho will perform Feb. 20 at Chestnut Mountain Church in Flowery Branch.

A regular on the Grand Ole Opry stage in Nashville, Tenn., Henry Cho will bring his stand-up comedy to Chestnut Mountain Church for a night of family entertainment.

“An Evening with Henry Cho” will begin at 7 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 20, at 4903 Chestnut Mountain Circle in Flowery Branch.

Tickets are $20 and can be purchased between 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Thursday and 9 a.m. to noon Sunday at the church office. All proceeds will help fund upcoming mission trips.

Cho’s clean comedy is so versatile he can headline Vegas and then tour with Michael W. Smith in the same month, according to his website (www.henrychocomedy.com).

Cho’s TV and film credits include appearances on NBC’s “The Tonight Show” and “Young Comedians Special,” and CBS’s “The Late, Late Show.”

He also served two years as host of NBC’s Friday Night Videos and had many guest roles on various network sitcoms.

Some of Henry’s film credits include “McHale’s Navy” with Tom Arnold and David Allen Greer; “Say It Isn’t So” with Heather Graham and Sally Field; and “Material Girls” with Hilary Duff and Angelica Houston.

His one-hour Comedy Central Special, “What’s That Clickin Noise?” is running. And he can be heard on Sirrus, XM and Blue Collar Radio.
