The Gainesville State College Brass Ensemble, under the direction of GSC brass instructor Don Strand, will perform the national anthem Aug. 25 at the Gwinnett Braves' game on College Fair Night.

The College Fair will feature colleges and universities from across the state during an evening of recruitment and outreach to area high school students.

The G-Braves will play host to the Norfolk Tides at Coolray Field in Lawrenceville. Game time is 7:05 p.m.

Approximately 200 GSC students are scheduled to attend the game as part of a promotion by the Student Activities Office.

The GSC Alumni Association will hold an event on the Champion's Deck prior to the game, and the Brass Quintet is scheduled to perform for this event as well.
