Grant Street Music Room to rock as new year arrives
Clarkesville to mark end of 2015 with concerts on New Years Eve

Spin and dip your way across the dance floor as two bands play during the Rockin New Year’s Eve experience in Clarkesville.

Dancing will start in the Grant Street Music Room ballroom at 8 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 31, at 583 Grant St., in Clarkesville. A live countdown begins at midnight and bands will perform until 1 a.m.

The bands performing full sets will be Melonfunky and Wyatt Band.

Melonfunky is an Atlanta-based roots rock band, playing originals and cover material ranging from The Allman Brothers to Elvis and Johnny Cash to Micheal Jackson. The Wyatt Band is a variety show band covering music from the Styx and Journey to Motown and country.

The dance floor will accommodate plenty of movers and shakers. Fully staffed bars and a state-of-the-art sound and lighting system will add to the festivities.

Packages are available and include reserved seating, appetizers served buffet-style, party favors and a complimentary glass of Champagne at midnight. A cash bar is available.

Doors open to individuals 21 and older at 7:30 p.m. with music starting at 8 p.m.

Tickets are $30 per person. Parties of six or more will receive 10 percent off. Tickets are available at Grant Street Music Room. Transportation will be available to and from the venue via American Taxi.
