High-haired antics coupled with high-energy gymnastics from six gender illusionists will sashay across the stage this weekend in Clarkesville.

The Kudzu Queens Cabaret, featuring The Atlanta Glamazons, will perform at 8 p.m. Friday and Saturday at the Habersham Community Theater, 1370 Washington St., Clarkesville. The troupe is appearing as part of the theatre’s Retire the Mortgage Campaign.

Tickets are $20 for ages 13 and older. For reservations, visit www.habershamtheater.org or call 706-839-1315.

Beer and wine will be available for purchase with proper identification.

In 2013, the Glamazons wowed the Habersham Community Theater audience with their unique blend of lip-synching, dance, gymnastics and comedy. The Atlanta Glamazons consist of Brent Star, Tanyla Cassadine, Envy Van Michaels, Alexia G. Markova, Cartier Paris and Lauren LaMasters.

These guys (girls) perform hits from a wide array of artists. Last year, the audience saw Dolly Parton, Cher, Kelly Clarkson, Michael Jackson, Prince and Pink, just to name a few. This year, the performers promise a bigger and better line-up.

“We are so excited that the Glamazons are returning to Habersham,” Habersham Community Theater President Justin Dudkiewicz said. “The audience had so much fun last year, and this year they are doing two shows with a different line-up each night.”

The theater advises spectators to bring some dollar bills to “tip the girls.”
