As 2015 ends tonight, many will celebrate the beginning of a new year while others take a moment to remember the struggles of the past.

The New Year’s Eve Gala will celebrate, honor and remember community members affected by blood cancer. It will connect area residents who are passionate about enhancing the lives of people battling cancer.

The evening’s festivities will be from 7 p.m. to midnight Dec. 31 at 5340 Cornelia Highway in Alto.

Tickets are $50 per person, including dinner and a Champagne toast.

Attendees may participate in a silent and live auction and listen to inspiring speakers.

Guests may arrive at 7 p.m., with dinner being served at 8 p.m. The silent auction will close at 9:30 p.m.

No one younger than 18 will be admitted.
