Families to conquer obstacles at festival
Camp Evergreen furnishes competitive-style activities
0528-GO-BUST-BURTON
Silly and competitive activities will entertain families at the Bust your Burton event Saturday in Clarkesville.

As school ends and summer begins, many families will be loading into their cars and hitting the open road for a family vacation.

However, before the mass exodus starts, Camp Evergreen is hosting a unique day for families — Bust your Burton.

The Family Obstacle Course, BBQ & Bluegrass festival will be from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday, May 30, at 478 Andersonville Lane in Clarkesville.

Families and groups of up to six people can participate in extremely silly, not-so-competitive-or-strenuous obstacle course. Parents and children alike can have fun by getting a little wet, dirty and maybe even slimed at Bust Your Burton.

The team captain must fill out the registration form at www.bustyourburton.com.

No more than six people may be on a team and all minors must participate with at least one parent or guardian.

Fees are $20 for one participant, $40 for two and $60 for three. If you have a team of four to six, the cost is $70.

The team captain will receive an email with race day details the week before the event.  All participants will sign a waiver form on event day.

Bust Your Burton will take place rain or shine. No refunds will be offered.
