The costumes may be a complicated kaleidoscope of colors, but the message in the latest Habersham Community Theatre production is simple - don't be afraid to dream.
This weekend, the theater group will conclude their run of the Broadway classic, "Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat."
Although it has nearly sold out, the company still has tickets available for the 7:30 p.m. performances Friday and Saturday.
The Habersham group's show follows the traditional production created by Andrew Lloyd Webber and Tim Rice. Although there is some spoken dialogue, the majority of the plot is delivered through song.
The family-friendly musical is based on the biblical story of Joseph and his "coat of many colors."
The theater group recently concluded auditions for a September production of "The Diary of Anne Frank."
All productions are held at the Historic Habersham Theater, 1370 Washington St., Clarkesville.
Tickets for the "Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat" are $16 for adults and $11 for children and full-time students.
Call ahead for any cancellation tickets.
