To follow the saying "April showers bring May flowers," the city of Dahlonega plans to celebrate the unfurling blooms with the 2015 Mountain Flower Art Festival. More than 60 juried artists, quality craftspeople, local musicians and plant vendors will set up booths May 16-17 in downtown Dahlonega. The selected artists represent some of the finest in their respective mediums in the country and even create their art on the spot.
