The same thing happens every night at dinner: The table is set, the meal is served and family members compete for the "most boring day" award. Have no fear because Hall County Parks and Leisure has the antidote.

Join the fun at HCPL's third annual murder mystery dinner, "Till Death Do Us Part," at the East Hall Community Center.

"It is very interactive," said Katie Hardin, Program Coordinator for HCPL. "It's not something you sit down and watch."

Participants will be treated to a three-course meal featuring Italian fare. Afterward, the rules and objectives of the game will be read aloud. Hardin said only a handful of people will stand up and read, "Whenever they do that, it's just a copy of the rules. They are not (put on the spot) speaking in front of everyone."

"Till Death Do Us Part" is a wedding reception mystery and participants are encouraged to dress in full costume. Characters will mingle and try to determine who among them is the villain in a case more challenging than anything Miss Marple ever attempted to solve.

Seating is limited and registration is required by Tuesday. Characters will be assigned when tickets are purchased.

"I think it's a lot of fun, especially for this area," Hardin said. "It's something you might find typically in Atlanta. But I think it's a great opportunity for the community to get out and do something different and just have a fun filled evening."
