DaVinci Academy presents fairy tale Cinderella
Students portray cast of characters in a musical version

The classic fairy tale of “Cinderella” with its evil stepmother, fairy godmother and happily ever after will be performed by young thespians from DaVinci Academy.

The magic of this iconic fable will transport audience members into the fairytale land with sets, lighting and song. Based on the Richard Rodgers and Oscar Hammerstein II musical, this production will include songs such as “Ten Minutes Ago,” “In My Own Little Corner,” and “The Prince is Giving a Ball.”

“Cinderella” will be performed at 7 p.m. May 13 and 14 and 2 p.m. May 15 at Johnson High School, 3305 Poplar Springs Road, in Gainesville.

Tickets are $7 for adults, $5 for students and children. They will be for sale at the theater door.
