Resident Ensemble to perform at Piedmont

Sounds from the 19th century will ring throughout the Piedmont College chapel Sunday afternoon as a new musical group performs for the first time. The “Resident Ensemble,” will play for free at 4 p.m. Sunday, Aug. 24, in the chapel at 992 Central Ave. in Demorest. The chamber ensemble includes Heather Strachan, violin; Rachael Fischer, violin; Megan Chisom Peyton, viola; David Peyton, cello; and Jeri-Mae Astolfi, piano.
