Aerialists and acrobats and Jetskis? Oh my!
In a new twist in the world of circus acts, Cirque Italia presents a show featuring a stage that holds 35,000 gallons of water underneath as performers presents their unique talents underneath the white and blue big top tent.
Sights to be seen include contortionist who can bend her body in ways you would never imagine; an Italian singer who stacks chair upon chair and balances on top of them on his hands; and a crazy clown, Alex, who plunges off the diving board during his acrobatic trampoline excursion. If you are looking to get splashed, watch the JETSKI performance. Then go from water to fire as the Laserman causes all kinds of explosions with his laser guns.
But the circus does not discount the traditional aspects of a circus. Highwire feats, juggling maniacs, elegant chiffons have a place in Cirque Italia.
