Immerse yourself into the culture of Italy while being deluged with a water-filled experience at the same time.

Cirque Italia features a 35,000-gallon water stage for a performance April 16-19 off Browns Bridge Road in Gainesville. Artists from all across the world will transport the audience to Italy through their performances.

The musical clowns are the show’s animators, displaying a wide variety of musical slapstick and side-splitting comedy. And one of the vertical performers will sing Andrea Bocelli's tunes while upside down.

Then the Laserman act will conduct optical illusions and hypnotism. The twin sailors will cause mischief and perform the duo aerial ring.

Finally, children of all ages will be eager to see a mermaid emerge from her shell and swim through the fountains.

Showtimes are 7:30 p.m. April 16 and 17; 1:30 p.m., 4:30 p.m. and 7:30 p.m. April 18; and 2:30 p.m. and 5:30 p.m. April 19.

For each full-priced adult, a child may enter for free in levels 2 and 3. Adult tickets cost $20-$50. To purchase tickets visit or call 941-704-8572.
