A holiday tradition at The New American Shakespeare Tavern will resume once again this Christmas season as the Atlanta Shakespeare Company presents its adaptation of “Charles Dickens’ A Christmas Carol.”
A handful of actors bring the wondrous art of storytelling to life, transporting the audience to Scrooge’s London counting house that fateful Christmas when he meets three ghosts and a little boy named Tiny Tim.
Regular performance times are 7:30 p.m. Thursdays through Saturdays, 6:30 p.m. Sundays and 10 a.m. most Tuesdays and Wednesdays. Lunchtimes performances will be at 2 p.m. Dec. 19, 22 and 23 with a meal available at 12:45 p.m. More night performances will be at 7:30 p.m. Dec. 22-23.

The New American Shakespeare Tavern is at 499 Peachtree St. NE, four blocks south of The Fox Theater and across the street from Emory University Hospital Midtown.
Parking is available in the Emory University Hospital Midtown Parking Deck directly across the street from the front doors of The New American Shakespeare Tavern on Peachtree Street. Regular parking is $5.
Do no park on Pine Street or in the empty parking lots on Pine Street. Your car might be booted if you park in these lots.
The Tavern opens one hour and 15 minutes before the performance for food and beverage service.
