Jazz, drinks and a silent auction coupled with the honorary guest of Gov. Nathan Deal and his wife, Sandra, has the makings of an extraordinary event.
Members of the Court Appointed Special Advocate program hope it is extraordinary. The CASAblanca gala is raising funds for the nonprofit, which serves abused and neglect children in Hall County.
WDUN radio personality Derrick Booth and his wife, Amy, will speak about their adoption of two children CASA served. Cory Buckley, Lisa McCarthy and Diana Cindea will be honored at the event, too.
The gala will be 7-10 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 24, at the Chattahoochee County Club, 3000 Club Drive, in Gainesville.
Tickets are $75 each or $100 for a table of eight.
