The Cage Free String Band, known for its blend of old-time Appalachian and New England contra dance music, will add a spring to dancers’ steps Saturday, April 25, in Sautee Nacoochee. This band, which has played for many dances and community events in Northeast Georgia, is a regular at the Sautee Nacoochee Community Association dance held in the SNCA historic gym. Fiddlers Margie McDonald and Ann Whitley supply the harmony of the songs.
