BlueBilly Grit to perform in Clarkesville

BlueBilly Grit, which has won a bluegrass music festival, will play at 8 p.m. Saturday in the Grant Street Music Room in Clarkesville. The group is working on a third album, “BlueBilly Grit Live at The Melting Point.”

After playing festivals throughout the South including the inaugural North Georgia Bluegrass Jam at the Habersham Mill Complex in Clarkesville, BlueBilly Grit will return to Grant Street Music Room for a Saturday night performance.

Considered a traditional bluegrass band with a large Americana influence, BlueBilly Grit will perform its modern style and three-part harmony at 8 p.m. Dec. 14, at the Old Clarkesville Mill. Doors at 583 Grant St. will open at 7 p.m.

Tickets are $10.
