Artists aiming to expand their creativity and exhibit their wares will have a plethora of opportunities to do so thanks to the Helen Arts & Heritage Center. The arts center is sponsoring three classes, a judged competition and an artwork jurying this month at 25 Chattahoochee Strasse. Classes include: * “The Art Spirit, Why do we paint?” from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Thursday, Aug. 7, and Friday, Aug. 8.
