Helen plans to celebrate the holidays soon than expected.

The Helen Arts & Heritage Center has opened its final art exhibit of the year.

Alpine Holidays will feature two internal groups from within the center, which started with an opening exhibit Oct. 23, at 25 Chattahoochee Strasse in downtown Helen.

The center’s potters, under the direction of studio director Hilton Hill, will exhibit their unique and diverse clay creations.

In conjunction with the potter, the H.A.P.I. painters guild, coordinated and managed by Gayle Murdock, will show off their wares. The works include impressionist and various styles of paintings.

Both groups contain multi-talented artists who are dedicated and hardworking members of the arts center.

Admission is free. Patrons may park in the rear area of the center or in the municipal parking lot down the street or in Pete’s Park.
