Celebrate the new year while benefitting a good cause at Dahlonega’s First Night. From 6 p.m. to midnight Dec. 31, walk around the Dahlonega square listening to music from several bands and shopping at local stores. Sponsored by Interfaith Ministries, proceeds from the $10 tickets will support Jeremiah’s Place, which provides transitional housing for the homeless. The night will conclude with the annual Gold Nugget Drop on the square.
