High school wrestling: Chestatee girls claim Area 8 championship over Stephens, Gainesville

The Chestatee High girls wrestling team left no doubt in the Area 8 championship on Friday in Gainesville. 

Out of a three-team field, the Lady War Eagles earned a dominating 78-6 win against Stephens County to open their evening. 

Then in the championship, Chestatee came out on top against Gainesville, earning the No. 1 seed to the state championship meet Jan. 20 in Buford.
